BUDADIRI EAST — Budadiri East Member of Parliament Julius Nakiyi on Sunday, September 20, 2026, held a strategic meeting with LC3 chairpersons from across the constituency, bringing together local leaders to discuss development priorities, service delivery and stronger coordination at the grassroots.
The meeting provided a platform for the LC3 chairpersons to present challenges affecting their respective sub-counties and discuss how the issues can be addressed in line with Nakiyi’s development manifesto and broader priorities for Budadiri East.
The leaders also expressed appreciation to Nakiyi for his service to the constituency and his contribution to community development, pledging to work together in unity to improve service delivery to the people.
During the engagement, the chairpersons highlighted matters affecting their respective communities, giving Nakiyi an opportunity to listen directly to grassroots leaders and identify areas requiring greater attention and coordination.
Nakiyi used the meeting to emphasise the importance of unity among leaders, arguing that effective development requires leaders at different levels to work together and remain focused on the needs of the people they serve.
