Hon. Kasukali Methuselah has commended Catechist Emmanuel Manyindo Abwooli for dedicating 44 years of faithful service to the Catholic Church and the wider community, describing his commitment as an exemplary legacy of faith and service.
Kasukali made the remarks yesterday while joining Christians at St. Jude Catholic Church, Kaiganga, in Katooke Sub-County, during a farewell ceremony held to honour Manyindo Abwooli as he concludes his long and dedicated service as a catechist.
For more than four decades, Manyindo has served the Church with commitment, guiding Christians in matters of faith and contributing to the spiritual and social wellbeing of the community. His years of service have earned him recognition from both the Church and the people he served.
Kasukali thanked the outgoing catechist for his exemplary commitment, noting that 44 years of service is a remarkable achievement that deserves appreciation and recognition. He described Manyindo’s journey as an inspiration to Christians and community members.
The ceremony brought together Christians, Church leaders, family members and members of the wider community to celebrate the catechist’s contribution and bid him farewell after decades of service.
Kasukali emphasised the importance of recognising people who dedicate their lives to serving others, saying that such commitment strengthens communities and leaves a lasting impact on future generations.
