KAMPALA — Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda, Rt. Hon. Jacob Markson Oboth, has met Lord Krish Raval, a Member of the United Kingdom’s House of Lords, in an engagement focused on strengthening relations between Uganda and the United Kingdom.

The meeting provided an opportunity for Speaker Oboth and Lord Raval to exchange views on matters of mutual interest and to underscore the importance of continued engagement between Uganda and the United Kingdom.

Lord Raval, who is a member of the UK House of Lords, has a personal connection to Uganda, having been born in the country. His engagement with the Speaker comes as part of his interaction with Ugandan leaders and institutions during his visit to the country.
