KAMPALA — Hon. Ronald Muhenda, Member of Parliament for Fort Portal Central Division, has joined fellow legislators from the Tooro Sub-Region in endorsing Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba for the 2031 presidency.
Muhenda, popularly known as “Omusoromi” or “Ateenyi,” was among the Tooro MPs who gathered at the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) offices in Kampala to formally declare their support for Gen. Kainerugaba’s 2031 presidential bid.
The legislators presented a collective endorsement on behalf of the Tooro Sub-Region, bringing together parliamentary representatives from across the region in support of Gen. Kainerugaba.
As the MP representing Fort Portal Central Division, Hon. Muhenda’s participation placed the region’s main urban constituency among those represented in the Tooro endorsement.
The delegation’s visit to the PLU offices formed part of the ongoing mobilisation and endorsement activities ahead of the 2031 presidential election.
During the engagement, the Tooro legislators reaffirmed their stated support for Gen. Kainerugaba and expressed readiness to participate in activities associated with the wider mobilisation drive.

The endorsement brought together leaders from different constituencies across Tooro, with the MPs presenting the declaration as a collective position of the participating legislators.
The leaders concluded the engagement with the message “Tuko Pamoja,” meaning “We are together,” as they expressed their commitment to the endorsement and the political activities leading towards 2031.
