KABALE — State Minister for Trade, Industry and Cooperatives David Bahati will continue serving as the National Resistance Movement (NRM) District Chairperson for Kabale following a formal decision by the party leadership.

The decision was communicated to Bahati by NRM Secretary General Rt. Hon. Richard Todwong in a formal notification conveying the party’s position on his continued service as the district chairperson.

The development has placed Bahati at the centre of renewed confidence within the Kabale NRM fraternity, giving him an opportunity to continue providing leadership and strengthening the party’s structures across the district.

Bahati has welcomed the decision with gratitude, appreciating the confidence placed in his leadership by the NRM leadership and expressing his readiness to continue serving the party.

He has pledged to work together with fellow party leaders and members to consolidate the gains already registered and build on them for the benefit of the NRM fraternity in Kabale.

Bahati has also reaffirmed his commitment to the NRM and President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, while expressing his continued support for the party’s leadership and activities.

His continued leadership comes at a time when the NRM is focused on strengthening its structures, promoting unity among its members and consolidating its presence ahead of the party’s next phase of mobilisation.

The decision is expected to further strengthen coordination within the Kabale NRM fraternity, with Bahati expected to work closely with party leaders and members to advance the organisation’s interests across the district.

Bahati’s continued service as NRM District Chairperson therefore gives him a fresh opportunity to build on the party’s achievements, strengthen unity and contribute to a more coordinated and vibrant NRM structure in Kabale.
