KAMPALA — Hon. Adrine Katusiime, the Sheema District Woman Representative in Uganda’s 12th Parliament, is joining the Parliament Choir in a performance during the ongoing Inter-Religious Thanksgiving Service for the 12th Parliament.

Katusiime is taking part in the service as legislators and other participants gather in an atmosphere of prayer, praise and thanksgiving as the new Parliament continues its work of serving Ugandans.

Sharing her experience, Katusiime describes performing with the Parliament Choir as a profound honour, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to the service through music.
“As voices rise in unison, hearts find common ground in gratitude,” Katusiime says, emphasising the unifying power of worship and collective thanksgiving.
Her participation is adding a musical dimension to the ongoing gathering, highlighting how faith and shared expressions of gratitude can bring people together beyond their political differences.
The thanksgiving service is taking place as the 12th Parliament continues its legislative, representation and oversight responsibilities, with national service remaining central to its mandate.
Katusiime’s message is also drawing attention to the importance of unity, humility and a shared sense of purpose among leaders as they undertake their responsibilities to the country.
As the service continues, participants are using the occasion to express gratitude and reflect on the responsibilities that come with public office and the need to serve the people of Uganda with commitment.
