KABALE — Kabale District Woman Member of Parliament, Hon. Enid Origumisiriza, has emerged as a unifying voice in the district, calling for an end to political and identity-based divisions and urging residents to focus on unity, cooperation and shared development.
Hon. Origumisiriza has consistently advocated for togetherness, encouraging the people of Kabale to work together regardless of their religious, clan or political backgrounds.
She has emphasised that leadership should bring people together rather than create divisions, saying every resident deserves to benefit from services and development regardless of their background.
“Development does not segregate or ask which religion one subscribes to. I am working for all,” Hon. Origumisiriza said.
She pledged to remain a leader for everyone, noting that her electoral support came from people across different religious, clan and political backgrounds.
The legislator has also called for greater cooperation among leaders and communities in Kabale, arguing that working together can create a stronger foundation for addressing challenges affecting residents.
Her message of unity has been welcomed by various stakeholders in the district, who say an inclusive approach to leadership can help strengthen cooperation and promote equitable service delivery.
The call for unity comes at a time when political differences continue to shape public debate in the district, making appeals for cooperation an important part of efforts to maintain peaceful community relations.
Hon. Origumisiriza has continued to emphasise that unity and collective effort are essential for Kabale’s progress, calling on residents to put aside divisions and work together for the development of the district.
