KAMPALA — Hon. Tom Bright Amooti, Member of Parliament for Kyaka Central County in Kyegegwa District, joined fellow legislators from the Tooro Sub-Region in formally endorsing Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba for the 2031 presidency.
The Tooro MPs gathered at the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) offices in Kampala, where they delivered a collective declaration backing Gen. Kainerugaba as their preferred candidate for the 2031 presidential election.
Hon. Tom Bright was among the legislators who participated in the endorsement, adding his voice to the collective position of the Tooro Parliamentary delegation.
In a message shared from the event, Hon. Bright said he had joined fellow MPs from the Tooro region at the PLU Secretariat, where they endorsed Gen. Kainerugaba for the 2031 presidency.
The delegation’s appearance at the PLU offices was part of the wider mobilisation and endorsement activities being undertaken by supporters of Gen. Kainerugaba ahead of the 2031 elections.

The legislators used the occasion to demonstrate a united position from the Tooro Parliamentary delegation, with the endorsement bringing together representatives from different constituencies across the sub-region.
The leaders concluded the engagement with the message “Tuko Pamoja,” meaning “We are together,” signalling their stated commitment to the endorsement and the wider mobilisation activities ahead of 2031.
